Training Day – why should I go?

For some of you reading this, you be thinking “Training Day is coming, yeah! Can’t wait.” For others you may be thinking, “What is this Training Day you speak of?” Training Day is for everyone and anyone!

We are a transformative movement of local faith communities, and while we have many churches and parishes across the diocese, we consider ourselves one family with many local expressions of faith.

Training Day is one of the opportunities where we get to gather together with whānau from our across our movement. Not only do we have a great time of fellowship, we get to hear from a great line up of speakers.

Last year, despite not being able to be with us in person. Bree Mills joined us from Australia to share about missional communities. We also had workshops on children’s spirituality, how to share your faith without losing your nerve, five key team behaviours, Godly administration. self-care and wellbeing in mission. Whatever your interests and passions may be, there will be something for you at Training Day.

This month, instead of running the usual two Training Days, we are running four around the region. So, grab your friends and head along to a Training Day near you.
