The Coffee Truck That’s 3x As Good

It's been three months since the Common Good Coffee Truck opened its doors outside St Peter's on Willis.

Rev Paul Fletcher provides an update below.

What a ride it's been! We've had wonderful connections with local residents and businesses, gathered a faithful crew of regulars, and shared the story of Common Good Coffee with hundreds of Wellingtonians.

While our location on the St Peter’s Anglican Church site is brilliant, we are having to face some stark realities of running a business.

We haven't seen the uptake in these summer months that we had hoped for.

However, with University students back in the city we are waiting to see if this could change.

Being rooted as we are in our faith tradition, we know that waiting is never passive, but one that actively discerns.

So, we are giving this everything we've got because it is such an amazing opportunity!

The truck continues to brew #3timesasgood coffee in the heart of Wellington. We love the intrigue, excitement and privilege that comes with sharing the epic part that Common Good Coffee plays in helping spark more good in places of extreme poverty and modern slavery!

We are so thankful for all the support we've already received. But our ask is this, we'd love to have you come (or send your mates) to check us out and buy some coffee. We are also active on social so spread the word.

This is a kingdom business and so we also ask that you'd pray for the right people and opportunities to open up for it.
