A beautiful day for Training Day gathering in Karori

On Saturday 14 March, Samuel Marsden Collegiate in Karori hosted around four hundred people for our Training Day. The sun shone, the event was well attended, and workshops were offered on a range of topics, from the Treaty of Waitangi to Godly Play to LGBT discipleship.

Participants enjoyed the opportunity to connect with others from around the diocese, including those from diverse mission units and from as far away as Whanganui and Ohakune. Fewer workshops were offered this year, focused on topics relevant to a wide range of ministries. Feedback so far has been positive.

All going well, our next training days will be held later in the year – one in Palmerston North on the 15th of August, and then we’ll repeat it on the 29th of August in Wellington.
