Best Practices to Safeguard Your Ministry: safety training for you and your team
This training is for all Anglican clergy, vestry members and anyone working with children and their families - however it could also be useful for anyone in any form of pastoral care.
Cost: $40 per Anglican Parish/Mission Unit (we will invoice parishes directly). This includes both the morning session for all team members and the team leaders' session in the afternoon.
It will focus on how to keep children, their families and ourselves safe. We will look at our roles and responsibilities as leaders, creating a culture of safe practice, discuss possible scenarios, and how to manage incidents when they occur.
We want to encourage you to bring your whole team - so we are putting on dinner and time to network with each other. Please share this invitation with your ministry teams! You can also place this image in your newsletters.
Please contact Colette Stevens, Diocesan Children and Family Ministry Facilitator, if you have any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org
By the way, this is the last of several of these workshops being run throughout the diocese this year. If there's still time, you might want to check out the other dates / locations:
- July 23rd - Lower Hutt, 6pm - 7pm (dinner provided)
