Peninsula Parish get creative with family prayers

familyprayer.jpg

Our whānau at Peninsula Parish have been trying out a new rhythm of family morning prayers to help engage the whole family.

Rev. Chris Dodds has created a special prayer box that the family can fill with various items according to the church year. Each morning one of his children takes the box and sets up the special prayer space.

They follow a very simple pattern with singing and some simple prayers.

Watch the video below of Chris and family as they gather together as a family, and take some inspiration for your own home.

Read more from Chris about the family’s morning prayers.
