Seminar series on ethics for ordinary Christians to be hosted in Wellington

Living Faith: Everyday Ethics for Ordinary Christians

  • A St John’s in the City Winter Lecture Series by Derek Woodard-Lehman, Lecturer in Theology and Public Issues (University of Otago)

Derek Woodard-Lehman, Lecturer in Theology and Public Issues (University of Otago), will initiate and facilitate conversation about euthanasia, sexuality and marriage, war and peace, and the global climate crisis matters …and more. But the heart of “Living Faith” is you, and those who join you. Sessions will run for 75 minutes, and will be built around small-group conversation and personal reflection. Together, we will examine the nature of the moral life and the state of several ethical issues, as well as the call to practical action that our faith entails.

The series is over six weeks from 16 August on a Thursday evening from 7:30pm at St John’s in the City, corner of Willis and Dixon Streets.  Series charge: $20 ($5 unwaged).  See the attached event graphic, or click here for the Facebook event.
