Fundraising dinner to be held for Bibles in Schools organisation

The Churches Education Commission (CEC) is to hold a fundraising dinner in Wellington on the 17th of August, and they want to invite you.  CEC runs what is most commonly known as Bibles in Schools – a Biblical values-based “Life Choices” curriculum that aligns with the state school curriculum, and is taught in state schools all over New Zealand.  They also train and oversee the placement of chaplains in state schools through the Lifewalk Trust, and have a renewed emphasis on connecting with the local churches, schools and communities to better serve our young people.

This year’s fundraising dinner will be held at Dockside Restaurant, from 6:30pm on the 17th.  At this event, you’ll be able to join the CEC team for an evening of fun, to hear about the impact of their work and support it; and enjoy Dockside’s delicious three course meal and complimentary drink.

The invitation is attached here, and you can purchase tickets through Eventbrite here.  Tickets are $60 per person, plus booking fee.
