There is a unique and interesting opportunity for a dedicated dairy farmer wanting to combine paid work with voluntary youth and/or children’s ministry. The farming role is permanent and full time. The voluntary youth and/or children’s ministry role is very part-time and extremely well-supported. The full advert is on the Farm Source website – click here. This role is on a family farm on the edge of Shannon, milking 400 (peak) cows through a modern 35 ASHB. You will be required to assist and manage day to day operation of the farm. Accommodation available is a four bedroom spacious house on the farm. Current roster is 50 hours, single rotation, 12 on 2 off. Competitive remuneration by negotiation, depending on experience.
It is essential that you have a current full NZ driving licence and experience driving both two and four wheel motorbikes. Candidates require at least two years dairy farming experience.
