Petition for clergy to speak up for plight of Manus Island refugees

A collaboration of ministers from various faith groups have created a petition document that emphasises the urgency of the plight of refugees on Manus Island.  The group is hoping for a positive response before Christmas, and has requested a meeting with the Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern; for this coming Friday the 22nd of December (tomorrow).  Rev Andy Hickman, from the Parish of Tawa-Linden, has been asked to represent the group should the meeting proceed, and present the petition.

If you are a clergy member, you are welcome to sign the petition before tomorrow by clicking here.
