Reverend Tim Duxfield, Parish of Rangitikei

Reverend Tim Duxfield, Parish of Rangitikei

Bishop Justin, Bishop Eleanor and the Parish Nominators in the Parish of Rangitikei are thrilled to announce the appointment of Reverend Tim Duxfield as their new Priest in Charge.  Tim’s installation will be held at St Stephen’s, Marton at 3.00pm on Saturday 3 February 2018.  All are welcome to attend and clergy are invited to robe in alb and red stole.

Tim was Priest Assistant in the Parish of All Saints Palmerston North until late November 2017.  Tim has served the All Saints Parish since 2010 as Youth and Young Adults Pastor, Lay-leader of St Oswald’s, and as a Deacon and a Priest.

Tim is married to Rev. Kim, who is the Chaplain at Ngatawa Diocesan School in Marton.  Together they partner with the Diocese to run an AYM (Anglican Youth Movement) house; a formational community of young leaders who live together as disciples of Jesus.

They have lived in Palmy for seven years and are sad to farewell the deep community they have journeyed with, but excited for the future God is calling them into in partnership with the Rangitikei.  Kim is also excited about a shorter commute!

Tim and Kim both love walking and biking through the beautiful countryside and mountains of Aotearoa, playing guitar, singing and worshipping, board-games, and good wine.  Kim is a passionate knitter, creating the most wonderful projects; Tim on the other hand enjoys tinkering in the shed, hunting, and brewing craft beer.
