City Mission gets behind 14 Hours Homeless campaign

The Wellington City Mission is taking part in this year’s 14 Hours Homeless fundraising campaign, run by The Salvation Army.  14 Hours Homeless is a perfect opportunity for those who have been considering what their response is to the housing crisis might be – as it provides an opportunity to be “homeless” for a night, and raise money for those who need it.

14 Hours Homeless will begin on Friday the 13th of October at 6pm, and will end at 8am the next morning – with events to be held around the country, including Wellington and Palmerston North.  Those who can’t take part in the organised events can host an off-site event or donate online.

Check out 14hourshomeless.org.nz for all the information, and to register for the event.  You can also join the conversation on the Facebook event page here.
