The Reverend Robert Logan Peck (Bob) has passed away peacefully in his 88th year in Christchurch. His funeral service will be held on Monday at St Michael’s and All Angels, 84 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch on Monday 11 September at 11.00am.
Bob was deaconed in 1958 and priested in 1959 in the United States of America. He served the church in the US until he moved to the Wellington Diocese in 1964, taking up the position of Vicar of the Parish of Manaia until 1968. He was Curate Assistant in the Parish of Wadestown from 1968 to 1975, and then Vicar in the Parish of Ruapehu from 1975 to 1990. Bob and his family then moved to the Christchurch Diocese for various ministry positions until 1999 when he moved back to Wellington and was issued with a Permission to Officiate licence. Bob moved back to Christchurch around 10 years ago.
