On the evening of Wednesday the 9th of August, Wellington Cathedral of St Paul will play host to a joint Roman Catholic and Anglican election forum focusing on housing. Political leaders are being invited to attend and speak, and it will be a fantastic opportunity for people to hear housing challenges and the proposed solutions of our political parties.
Three years ago, the Cathedral hosted a similar event on the topic of child poverty, attended by over 1,000 people. We look forward to constructively engaging in the challenges our nation faces, and the solutions we might implement to improve conditions.
More information will be released soon. In the meantime, please save the date and plan to attend. Additionally, if you would like to volunteer to help plan and run the night, please contact Diocesan Advocacy Enabler Kate Day on firstname.lastname@example.org.
