Lifewalk offers school chaplaincy course

Lifewalk Trust is an organisation that trains and provides chaplaincy services to state schools.  The trust is offering a Lifewalk CARE course for those who want to use their caring skills to come alongside young people who need a “listening ear”.  The course is designed to help shape your natural pastoral leanings.

The course is being conducted in Palmerston North on the 24th and 25th of June, and will begin the training to equip attendees for this important role in our state schools.

Contact Sally at wellington@lifewalk.org.nz for more information and the opportunity to join others from the Lower North Island who want to positively impact young lives.

Following this intensive two day course, you will be ready to be matched to a school and begin ‘on the job chaplaincy work’, whilst receiving continuing training and supervision.
