Used parish beeswax candles to a good home

Many of us enjoy and appreciate the gift that Ngatiawa River Monastery is for us as a Diocese and beyond. We all also have our parish beeswax candles that get too short and are replaced, the stubbies going into a box to use sometime in the future, but the box often fills and they sit there unused.

A suggestion from Rev Michael Brantley from St Matthew’s in Masterton is to send them to Ngatiawa for use in Tarore Chapel, where their shorter size fits and the long ones would not work well.  Michael suggests that you can post them directly to Ngatiawa, or if you’re around the Anglican Centre, you can drop them off there and they will pass them along whenever anyone from Ngatiawa is passing in the office.

Thanks, Michael!
