Next Monday: show church support for a Zero Carbon Emission Act campaign

We all know the climate crisis is growing more urgent by the day, yet emissions continue to grow.  Generation Zero, a youth climate organisation, is about to launch its blueprint for a Zero Carbon Act. This is the beginning of a proposed new law – inspired by the United Kingdom’s 2008 Climate Change Act – to put our country on track to zero carbon by 2050.

Many Anglicans are taking steps to reduce emissions. Generation Zero’s campaign will help all of New Zealand do the same.  Come and join with others to witness the beginning of this exciting new campaign!

Launch event:
Monday 10th of April, 12:30pm – 1pm on the lawns of Parliament (if fine), or in Wellington Cathedral of St Paul (if wet).
