Electoral College Prayer

With the Electoral College for the appointment of a new Assistant Bishop nearing, we invite you to use and circulate the following prayer for the wisdom and discernment of those involved in the election process.

Gracious God, pour out your Spirit upon your Church. Grant wisdom and discernment to those who will choose an Assistant Bishop for this Diocese of Wellington, that we may choose a candidate who is faithful in prayer, an able teacher, preacher and pastor, who will serve willingly alongside our Bishop Justin in the episcopacy of this Diocese, encouraging, leading, and equipping your people for mission and ministry in the world, to the glory of your name. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
