Assistant Bishop: Information about the Preliminary Enquiry Process is here

The 2016 Diocesan Synod in September passed Motion 18 to approve the creation of an Assistant Bishop of Wellington role. We have set aside 11-12 March 2017 for the Electoral College of the Assistant Bishop.

The Preliminary Enquiry process commences on 24 November 2016 for any person considering proposing a candidate for Assistant Bishop. Please find attached on this page the Preliminary Enquiry process information: the Assistant Bishop role description, the Diocesan Profile, and the Preliminary Enquiry Form and timeline.

Note that any person considering proposing someone as a candidate for Assistant Bishop must complete the Form and return it to the Diocesan Manager, Nick Young, by 14 December 2016. Nick’s email is nick@wn.ang.org.nz; or the form can be returned by post to The Anglican Centre, 18 Eccleston Hill, Thorndon, Wellington 6011.

We continue to pray that God will guide us through this journey of growing our Episcopal leadership within the Diocese.
