Using a poster from Illustrated Ministry, some parishioners from All Saints Hataitai spent a week creating an amazing temporary stained-glass-effect window for Christmas.
The girls painted the design on the window with black acrylic poster paint, and then did a second layer to make sure it was solid. They had to scrape some of the smudges away with a paint scraper to tidy it up. Then when the outlines were done, they cut out coloured cellophane shapes to colour the spaces, and stuck it on with tape.
Their work was featured in US-based Illustrated Ministry’s newsletter.
