Not So Silent Night: a Songwriter’s Nativity

Not So Silent Night: a Songwriter’s Nativity

This will be the fourth time that local Wellington songwriters have joined together to create a unique presentation of the Christmas story.

If you’re tired of high-rotate jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way, we have an antidote!

Fresh songs sung by wannabe shepherds and self-proclaimed wisemen will transport you out of the bustle and into the not-so-silent night. An assortment of local songwriters that you’ve probably never heard of will bring to life the story that started far, far away in a manger.

Expect the unexpected: cartwheeling sheep, hula-hooping angels and the like. Everyone is welcome. This is a family-friendly, free event. Donations to the food bank will be accepted as a koha if you feel the need to bring a gift.
