Vacancy: Diocesan Manager, Wellington (Closes 30th September 2019)

At the Anglican Centre in Wellington we are passionate about following Jesus and seeing his kingdom come in our Diocese. The way of Jesus shapes our priorities and vision as we strive for a culture of servanthood and hope.

A vacancy has opened for a key role in our leadership team as DIOCESAN MANAGER. The role provides strategic and operational leadership in the Diocese. The Diocesan Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of key operational functions that support the Bishops in providing overall leadership of the Diocese.  This includes responsibility for the Diocesan Office, preparing the annual budget and managing the income and expenditure of the Diocese, providing advice and support to Diocesan governance and other bodies, and providing support and assistance on a range of matters to Mission Units.

We seek an experienced manager and leader with a love of Jesus and an alignment with the values of our Diocesan family. The right person will have a great opportunity to strongly influence the shape and future of our Diocese and contribute to many opportunities to further the mission and ministry of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa. The opening is for a full-time equivalent position, but we would consider comparable expressions of interest.

Values of the Anglican Diocese of Wellington
