Our Oroua parish whānau hosted neighbouring Anglicans for a picnic and prayer event to celebrate Thy Kingdom Come on Sunday. Archdeacon for Manawatū, Ven. Wendy Scott; said: “we had a great time, lots of food, kids and inside games. It was fun, lots of good conversations and people who came and went into the church to engage with our interactive prayer stations which will remain open and up till Pentecost.”
It’s great to hear of such collegial and unique ways of gathering to pray. If you’ve got a story of how you and your local faith community have engaged with Thy Kingdom Come, please do share – email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
