Multilingual worship resources echo first Pentecost

Rev Anashuya Fletcher, one of our Intercultural Communities Enablers, has been working on a project to help us celebrate Pentecost together.  It’s called the Pentecost Project, and it is a website made up of liturgy and other worship resources in a number of different languages – to echo the situation at the first Pentecost, when the disciples were caused by the Spirit to speak in other tongues so that those gathered may hear the Gospel in their own language.

That is still God’s desire. As we welcome, wait and watch for the Kingdom, we cry “Come Holy Spirit!” The website is intended to help us (and others!) to celebrate being part of the global church; and to remind us of God’s mission to and from every part of the world.
