Mrs Karen Stewart, our hard-working Office Manager at the Anglican Centre, has advised the Diocesan Manager of her resignation, effective August 2019. Karen has worked tirelessly as the friendly face people see when they come into the Anglican Centre, and the voice on the other end of the phone when they call for some time – by the end of her tenure, she will have served for over twelve years. Her work has included the meticulous planning and running of our annual Synod sessions, maintaining the processes that keep our diocese ticking, and being a champion for ensuring parishes and our leaders have what they need. She has served the diocese diligently and thoroughly throughout her time here, and will be sorely missed. Her and her husband intend to take a well-earned break following her departure, and will concentrate on their business ventures together.
An appropriate farewell will be held for Karen closer to the time of her departure. We wish her and Bruce well as they plan for the next season of their lives.
