The Reverend Tim Handley has been appointed Interim Priest in Charge in the Parish of Hataitai-Kilbirnie beginning on Sunday 17 March 2019.
The parish became vacant on 26 January after Reverend Ben Arcus returned to a teaching position. Tim is experienced in interregnum work in the Eastern Suburbs, having guided the Parish of Miramar-Seatoun-Strathmore through their interregnum last year. He and his wife Kathryn are currently completing tramping the South Island leg of the Te Araroa trail.
In the meantime All Saints has been calling on its own reserves for the running of services and preaching, along with help on two Sundays from Reverend Scott Reeve from Blueprint. The parish sees the interregnum positively, and as an opportunity to grow and develop resources from within the parish.
