Reverend Fiona Thomson, Parish of Kāpiti

The Reverend Fiona Thomson has resigned from her position as Priest Assistant in the Parish of Pauatahanui.  Fiona and Julian will be farewelled from the parish on Sunday 10 March at the 9:30am service at St Andrews, Plimmerton, followed by a lunch.  All are welcome to attend.

The Parish of Kāpiti is pleased to announce that Fiona has said yes to the Bishops’ call to be Priest Associate with Responsibility for Children and Families in the parish.  Fiona’s welcome and Commissioning service will be at 2.30pm on Sunday 17 March at St Paul’s, 1 Langdale Avenue, Paraparaumu.  Clergy are invited to robe in alb with red stoles.

We look forward to Fiona and Julian joining the parish family.

Fiona writes:

Just as each year has its seasons, so does ministry.  Now is the right time for Julian and myself to begin a new season with the Parish of Kāpiti.  I describe myself as a creative preacher who has a heart for children and inter-generational worship; bringing all of God’s people together as we serve Him – everyone included, no one left behind.  I have been richly blessed ministering at the Parish of Pauatahanui since 2013, and I anticipate a rich season of ministry at Kāpiti, serving God alongside the team there.  My Commissioning service will take place at 2.30pm on Sunday 17 March at St Paul’s Church, 1 Langdale Avenue, Paraparaumu.

I look forward to this occasion.

Reverend Fiona (Fee) Thomson.
