Rev Tim Duxfield from our Rangitikei Parish whānau has been hard at work with his Presbyterian colleague from Marton, Jasmin Vanderwerff, as they journey throughout the nation searching for pearls of wisdom on the topic of youth ministry. They’ve launched a brand new podcast series, and in one of the first episodes, our own Anglican Youth Movement regional co-ordinator, Andy Spence, shares about what’s been going on in the Hutt Valley.
The podcast aims to equip, inspire and uplift all those working with young people in Aotearoa New Zealand. Each episode will include a conversation with those from around the country who work with young people in a variety of contexts.
Jasmin is a Presbyterian youth pastor working for the whole community of Marton, and Tim is the Priest in Charge in the Parish of Rangitikei, with ten years’ youth work experience.
“We started this podcast because we saw an opportunity to capitalise on the wealth of experience and wisdom in New Zealand – and a need to address our own unique context,” say Jasmin and Tim.
