The St Augustine’s Petone family is excited about the appointment of Reverend Jethro Day as their new Vicar.
Speaking on behalf of St Augustine’s, Vicar’s Warden Roger Chandler said, “we are overjoyed to have the Day family come and join us. We see this as another chapter of blessing in our church’s journey. And we are very grateful for the Godly leadership we have experienced with Archdeacon John Wilson, and we wish him every blessing in his upcoming retirement.”
Jethro, Jess and their two young boys have been part of the St Thomas’s community in Newtown for the last few years. The Days will move to the Vicarage in Petone on 11 January 2019, and Jethro’s role commences mid January.
Jethro’s installation will be held on Sunday 27 January at 3.00pm.
